California Transformers fan Drew Beaumier has turned himself into a real-life Autobot by creating a series of working character costumes, the UK Metro reported.

He made his first kit in eight weeks from a toy car. His costumes have wheels on the arms and legs so he can "fold" into a car form and drive – just like the stars of the popular cartoon series and films. When he stands up, the outfit opens into the pose made famous by Optimus Prime and the other alien automatons.

He has created several costumes and makes cash by posing for pictures in Hollywood.
