Chinese men's basketball team defeated Argentina 74-57 in the second warm-up match held in Dongying, a coastal city of east China's Shandong Province on Monday.
China only established a 14-11 lead in the first quarter as the Chinese players just got one three-pointer out of six attempts this quarter.
Taking advantage of his height, China's centre Tang Zhendong pocketed six points in less than three minutes in the second quarter and helped China extend its lead to 12 points before the half time whistle.
Argentina fought back in the third quarter and managed to narrow the gap within five points, but China's shooting guard Wang Shipeng turned them down after bagging six points and helped his team win the game.
China beat Argentina in the first warm-up match 82-61 on Sunday in Qingdao, also a coastal city of Shandong.
The warm-up match series were arranged for the build-up of the Chinese team for the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Turkey this August.
