France' s coach Laurent Blanc said Wednesday win over Bosnia breathed life to the team but noted works are still needed to compose the best soccer team able to secure a place for the Euro tournament in 2012.
"I' m satisfied and reassured with the match' s result as by which we' re judged. I' m also happy to see such individual performance of the players, who have a great potential skills," Blanc, who leads the Bleus to their first victory after the World Cup fiasco, told reporters.
France scored their first win with 2-0 under Laurent Blanc against Bosnia after being beaten 1-0 by Belarus at home.
"There is no need to blow up after yesterday and there was not need to descend into hell last Friday," the coach said.
"Between Friday's defeat and the victory of yesterday, three days have passed and we did not have the international experience, which we lacked in three days. We have not yet the required experience but we will acquire it and the result helped us to save time," he added.
The 45-year-old coach, who has set Euro Cup title as the main target of his mission, is working hard to rebuild France soccer team and turn the page of the team' s woeful World Cup performance.
"We are still in a construction phase and even after the last night game, difficulties are still there and we're aware," Blanch said.
"The players have not played together before, no experience and you can not go to the supermarket to have that," he added.
French players are scheduled to face Romania on October 9 at home for the third qualifying game for the upcoming European tournament.
