Chile
Theme: City of Relations
The Chile Pavilion, resembling an enormous crystal cup when viewed from above, is made of recycled glass and steel mesh which allow a flood of natural light into the pavilion. Its flooring, ceiling and paneling are all made of genuine Chilean pine. The pavilion gives visitors a real-time glance at life in Chile through the Well of the Antipodes—a simulation of a giant well that connects Chile and China through live video transmitted via satellite.

Denmark
Theme: Welfairytales
The Denmark Pavilion essentially functions as one massive bike trail—incredibly appropriate, considering that most Danish cities are exceedingly bike-friendly. The spiral-shaped pavilion also features a harbor and a roof playground; the pavilion's exhibits demonstrate the success stories of Danish cities and show how the people of Denmark have improved life in their cities through a series of groundbreaking innovations. Standing at the center of the harbor is the country's world-famous statue, The Little Mermaid.

Finland
Theme: Well-being, Competence and Environment
The design of the Finland Pavilion is inspired by kirmu, the Finnish word for "kettle." The kettle-shaped pavilion resembles an island emerging from the surface of the water, with the island acting as a symbol of an ideal getaway from the hustle of city life. The beautiful natural landscapes of Finnish cities, the Finnish people's daily lives as well as Finnish technologies and solutions are all on display in the pavilion.
