France
Theme: The Sensual City
A pool of water surrounds the France Pavilion, creating the visual effect of a white floating palace with a French-style garden as its centerpiece. It's a place where you can make the most of all your senses: to see, smell, taste, hear and touch the glamour and rich cultural heritage of France. Seven artistic masterpieces, including works by Vincent Van Gogh and Edouard Millet, are some of the biggest attractions at the pavilion. The pavilion has hosted several wedding ceremonies for couples from all over the world.

Germany
Theme: Balancity
The futuristic Germany Pavilion is a three-dimensional walk-through sculpture with no defined interior or exterior; this is meant to symbolize the pavilion's theme of "Balancity," or a city in balance with itself. The pavilion's tour is just like a walk through a German city, with a terraced landscape, a tunnel, a city square and a power plant. Innovations, solutions and products from Germany are presented in each of these areas.

Ireland
Theme: Relationship between Urban and Rural, Man-made and Natural
The Ireland Pavilion's translucent exterior lets in a great deal of natural light, thus lowering the pavilion's artificial lighting usage and consequently decreasing its carbon footprint. The pavilion showcases many aspects of Ireland; the country's history, vibrant modern culture, excellent educational traditions and technical innovation are all displayed here. Ireland's rich musical culture is also featured in the pavilion.
