A suicide bomber on foot Friday killed at least 10 people in Pakistan's northwest and injured another 15, a senior regional official said.
The bomber exploded his bomb near a convoy of passenger buses in Hangu district, destroying three vehicles, Commissioner Khalid Khan said.
Earlier, Khan said the bomber attacked a convoy of security personnel at Thall, a city in Hangu district of North West Frontier Province.
The injured people were shifted to military and civilian hospitals in the region.
Thall is situated near Kurrum tribal agency near the Afghan border.
Witnesses said that people in Thall bazaar shut shops shortly after the blast and the security forces closed roads.
Locals said that the attack was carried out near a roadside petrol station. Several women and children were among the killed.
