An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale jolted Mariana Islands at 1444 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with the depth of 66 km, was initially determined to be 12.32 degrees north latitude and 141.6 degrees east longitude.
The quake occurred after a 7.2-magnitude one hit the area nearby at 2119 GMT on Friday.
