Saadi Gaddafi, one of fallen Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's sons, has arrived in neighboring Niger on Sunday, the pan-Arab al-Jazeera TV quoted Nigerien justice minister as reporting.
Marou Adamou was quoted as saying Saadi, in a convoy of nine people, was intercepted by the Nigerien soldiers when heading for the northern town of Agadez. The identities of the nine people were unclear.
The Nigerien government was not informed of the arrival, the minister told a news conference, adding his country would act to fulfill its humanitarian obligations.
It is the third Libyan convoy to enter the Nigerien territories in the past few days. Whereabouts of the fallen Libyan leader remain unknown.
