Egypt has set Nov. 21 as the date for the vote of the People's Assembly (the lower house of parliament), the head of the supreme election commission was quoted as saying on Saturday.
The balloting will end on Jan. 3, while the Shura Council (the upper house) will begin on Jan. 22 and end on March 4, the Egyptian media said.
The ruling military, who had said the date would be announced in late September, has not announced the dates.
