Co-directed by Merian C Cooper and and Ernest B. Schoedsack, 1933's "King Kong" is one of the most iconic films in the fantasy genre. It tells a story of a giant gorilla monster named Kong who falls in love with a beautiful girl and dies in an attempt to possess her. Kong originally inhabits 'Skull Island' in the Pacific Ocean with other over-sized animals. Kong has become one of the most famous movie icons all over the world.
